EFFECTS

SWALLOWED

  • 100% Pure NAA and IBA - LD50 - orally in rats: 1.0g/kg.
  • Undiluted Esi-Root contains 3.2g/L of IBA/NAA combined, therefore may cause irritation to the gastrointestinal tract, or cause pain and vomiting.

EYE

  • Due to the slightly acidic nature of the solution, it may cause eye irritation.
  • Avoid eye contact.

SKIN

  • Undiluted Esi-Root and Ezi-Root may be an irritant to the skin.
  • Use gloves and avoid skin contact.
  • Wash hands with soap and water prior to eating, drinking, and smoking.

INHALATION

  • No hazard.

CHRONIC

  • Prolonged contact may cause slight irritation or redness, avoid skin contact.

FIRST AID

SWALLOWED

  • If swallowed, Contact the Poisons Information Centre or a Doctor.

EYE

  • If in contact with the eyes, hold the eye open and flush out the eye - especially under the eyelids with fresh water or saline solution.
  • Seek medical attention if any irritation continues.

SKIN

  • If irritation occurs, remove contaminated clothing, and wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water.
