Coir Growing Media

Coir is a consistent, renewable growing media that promotes rapid root development and strong lateral branching, helping plants reach sale size sooner. Its fine structure provides an excellent balance of moisture retention and air-filled porosity, holding up to 8–9 times its weight in water while maintaining the airflow roots need. Compared with bark-based mixes, coir can reduce irrigation frequency and the risk of waterlogging and root rot. It also offers natural resistance to Pythium and Phytophthora and delivers reliable physical and chemical properties throughout the year.
