4. First Aid Measures

- Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If breathing difficulty occurs, seek medical advice.
- Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
- Eye contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.
- Ingestion: Rinse mouth with water. Give water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. If unwell, contact the Poisons Information Centre (13 11 26) or a doctor.
Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea if swallowed; mild skin or eye irritation with prolonged exposure.
5. Firefighting Measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, foam, dry chemical. Unsuitable extinguishing media: Sand, CO₂ alone may be less effective. Hazards from combustion products: Heating can release sulphur oxides (SO₂, SO₃), nitrogen oxides (NOx), ammonia, and phosphorus oxides. Avoid inhaling decomposition gases.
