Product details
Natural Gypsum
Natural Gypsum is a soft mineral composed of calcium sulphate dihydrate (CaSO4·2H2O), formed by the evaporation of ancient seawater and commonly found in sedimentary rock formations. SQL's Natural Gypsum is mined and processed in Queensland, supplying production nurseries, turf operations, landscapers, broadacre growers, and mine rehabilitation projects across Australia.
A quick source of plant-available calcium and sulphur, Natural Gypsum supports the photosynthesis process and overall plant nutrition. It is also an excellent clay breaker, displacing sodium and magnesium on clay particles to improve soil structure, water penetration, and retention in irrigated areas, all without altering soil pH.
Sourced from South Queensland Lime
SQL produces a large range of quality limestone, calcium carbonate, and gypsum products from their Queensland operations, with products tested regularly for sizing and chemical composition. Their crushing and grinding processes use no additional additives, delivering clean, safe, completely natural soil inputs. Supply is backed by established transport partnerships and flexible packaging options across the agricultural, horticultural, and mining sectors.
