FloraFert TurfStar All Purpose Turf Fertiliser

A straight granular turf fertiliser built for main season maintenance across sportsfields, fairways and commercial turf. High nitrogen for growth and colour, backed by nearly 11% calcium and 2% iron, and a 250 to 350 SGN granule that spreads evenly and settles quickly into the sward.

Twenty five percent of the nitrogen comes from NMAX, giving a longevity of around six to eight weeks per application. That holds colour and growth steady between feeds instead of spiking and dropping away.

Why it works on turf

• Growth and recovery. Nitrogen at 18% drives strong main season growth and helps turf knit back after wear, renovation or heavy use.

• Colour without excess top growth. Iron at 2% delivers depth of colour, so you get the visual result without lifting mowing frequency to match.

• Calcium at nearly 11%. Supports cell wall strength and root function, and is useful on acidic or calcium-deficient profiles where turf is under traffic.

• Sulphur and magnesium. Sulphur supports nitrogen use efficiency and colour, while magnesium is central to chlorophyll production.

• Even spread, fast settle. Consistent 250 to 350 SGN granules give a uniform pattern through the spreader and work down into the turf quickly.

Application

At 250 to 350 kg/ha, this supplies approximately 45 to 63 kg N/ha, 2.3 to 3.2 kg P/ha and 15 to 21 kg K/ha.

Apply through the main season, or according to your nutritional program for timing and rates. Avoid applying in hot weather or through extended dry periods. Best results come from applying into damp conditions or ahead of rain. Leave mower catchers off for two to three days after application to let the granules settle into the turf.

Storage
