WITHHOLDING PERIOD – Not required when used as directed
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS This product may be used as a monitoring tool in conjunction with routine spray programmes. It may also be used to detect the on set of the fruit fly season and to reduce the local fruit fly pressure. The product may also be integrated into fruit fly control programmes on properties committed to pesticide free farming techniques. This product will attract and kill male flies when used as directed in a “wet” trap but is not designed to be effective when applied to a cotton wick as no insecticide is present. (Flies will be attracted but not killed and are likely to escape from the trap).
PROTECTION OF LIVESTOCK, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used container.
STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Triple or preferably pressure rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of attractant on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean container to recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush or puncture and bury empty containers in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers below 500mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
