Ingestion: If swallowed, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre if you feel unwell. Wash out mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Skin: Carefully remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected areas thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical aid if at all worried. Eye: Rinse eyes immediately with clean water, holding eyes open, for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor. Advice to doctor: Not known.
5. Fire Fighting Measures
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Foam, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, water spray (fog). Contain all runoff. Hazards from Combustion Products: On combustion toxic fumes such as oxides of carbon, nitrogen and sulphur, hydrogen chloride and other toxic substances may be emitted and may form an explosive mixture with air. Special Protective Equipment for fire fighters: Isolate fire area. Evacuate downwind residents. Fire fighters should wear full protective gear including self-contained breathing apparatus (AS/NZS 1715-1716). If possible and without risk, remove intact containers from exposure to fire. Otherwise, spray un-opened containers with water to keep cool. Contain fire-fighting water by bounding area with sand or earth to prevent it entering any bodies of water. Dispose of fire control water or other extinguishing agent and spillage safely later. Hazchem code: 3Z
6. Accidental Release Measures
Emergency Procedures: Protective Equipment: Wear personal protective equipment. Refer to Section 8 for personal protective equipment. Personal Precaution: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid breathing vapor or mist. Environmental Precautions: Prevent from releasing it to the environment as this product may be harmful to aquatic organisms. Methods for cleaning up: Keep away from all ignition sources. Ventilate area. Bank up soil or sand around spill site to prevent it from flowing out to the environment. Scoop spill with tools such as a shovel, absorb spill with inert material (e.g. dry sand or vermiculite), and place them in air-tight containers. Wash spill site with soap and water after material clean-up is complete. Obey all Federal, State and local regulations for health & safety and environmental protection in treating the spill
