PERMIT TO ALLOW MINOR USE OF A REGISTERED AGVET CHEMICAL PRODUCT FOR CONTROL OF AFRICAN BLACK BEETLE, SCARAB LARVAE, STEM WEEVIL LARVAE, BILLBUG LARVAE, CUTWORM, ARMYWORM AND WEBWORM IN NURSERY STOCK (NON-FOOD)

This permit is issued to the Permit Holder in response to an application granted by the APVMA under section 112 of the Agvet Codes of the jurisdictions set out below. This permit allows a person, as stipulated below, to use the product in the manner specified in this permit in the designated jurisdictions. This permit also allows the Permit Holder and any person stipulated below to claim that the product can be used in the manner specified in this permit.

CONDITIONS OF USE
Products to be used: ACELEPRYN GR TURF INSECTICIDE (APVMA No. 85185) Containing: 2 g/kg CHLORANTRANILIPROLE as the only active constituent.
RESTRAINT: DO NOT apply when the soil is saturated with water as adequate distribution of the active ingredient vertically in the soil profile cannot be achieved under this condition. DO NOT apply more than 280 kg product per hectare per year. DO NOT apply if heavy rains or storms are forecast within 3 days. DO NOT irrigate to the point of runoff for at least 3 days after application.

Critical Use Comments:
- Use a calibrated spreader that can apply an even output across the whole soil surface of pots or the ground. This is essential for optimal product performance.
- Apply treatments early in the season before or at the peak of egg hatch/small larvae. Use the higher application rates when extended residual performance is required or in cases of high pest pressure. Reapply as pest numbers indicate.
- DO NOT apply more than 2 applications per crop.
- DO NOT apply less than 14 days after the initial treatment.
- As Acelepryn GR Turf is more active on the juvenile insect stages, target eggs/early nymph/larval stages. Ensure application provides even coverage of the soil surface. Continue to monitor crops and make subsequent applications as necessary.
- Follow the current Insecticide Resistance Management Strategies for Group 28 insecticides.
Protection of Wildlife, Fish, Crustaceans and Environment Very toxic to aquatic life. DO NOT contaminate wetlands or watercourses with this product or used containers.

Additional Conditions: This permit allows for the use of a product in a manner specified on the permit. Persons who wish to prepare for use and/or use products for the purposes specified in this permit must read, or have read to them, the details and conditions of this permit. Unless otherwise stated, the use of the product must be in accordance with the product label.
The holder of the permit must notify the APVMA of new information, including relevant information in accordance with section 161 of the Schedule to the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Act 1994, in accordance with the obligation imposed by that section.
To Avoid Crop Damage The sensitivity of the crop to be treated under this permit has not been fully evaluated. As some plant species and varieties may be particularly sensitive to chemical products and/or when applied during certain environmental conditions, it is advisable to treat only a small number of plants first, in order to determine their reaction to the product, before large scale use.
