Our response to COVID-19

Dear Valued Customer,
 
Fernland has been closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 throughout Australia, and we want to assure you we view this seriously and are adopting precautions and advice from the Department of Health, World Health Organisation (WHO), local and state health authorities.  
 
With new developments emerging by the hour, we have established a team within Fernland to daily monitor the evolving situation and implement actions quickly across our whole business. This includes preparing our colleagues to respond rapidly to any emerging situation to protect the health and safety of all our customers and staff.
 
We will continue to deliver the customer service you deserve and expect from Fernland, however you may notice some changes in how we deal with you in order to minimise the risk from the current pandemic.
 
We ask you to take this seriously, but don’t panic! Together as we implement extra measures, we can help minimise the spread and effect of this virus.
 
Over the last couple of days we have been asked about the impact on our supply chain:

• At this point in time we are not experiencing any wide-spread issue with the supply of products. However, there is a national shortage of some chemical products.
• Owing to disruptions in international shipping schedules, there is potential for extra lead time on our imported products
• While we don’t advocate panic buying, we do recommend forward planning; any indication you can give us of your requirements over the next few months will help us allocate stock to meet your needs. In the event of any shortages, priority will always be given to those who have placed forward orders.

At Fernland, we are prepared to face this crisis and come out strong on the other side, continuing to deliver industry leading service throughout this difficult time.
We will be continuing to monitor the situation and update our responses based on government health authorities and professional advice.
