Application and Usage Instructions
Use Native Plant Specialty Potting Mix as supplied. Do not add additional fertiliser at planting unless required for specific site conditions or maintenance programs.
- Containers and pots: Partly fill the container with mix, position the plant, then backfill with mix to the required level. Lightly firm and water in thoroughly to settle the mix around the root ball.
- Garden beds and courtyards: Use as a planting mix for individual plants or small pockets in existing soil, or in raised beds designed for native species. Ensure good drainage is available.
- Watering: Water well after planting. Thereafter, water according to plant and climate needs. The included wetting agent and water crystals help maintain even moisture but do not replace regular irrigation.
- Fertiliser program: The incorporated controlled release fertiliser provides nutrients for up to 6 months under normal conditions. Supplementary native plant fertiliser can be applied later in the growing season if required.
- Handling: Avoid inhaling dusts. Wear gloves and wash hands after use. Refer to the Compost & Potting Products SDS for further safety guidance.
