The Speedresser range are heavy-duty bulk drop-spreaders designed to handle a wide range of topdressing materials on sports turf. Traditional topdressing can be slow and labour-intensive; Speedresser units use large-capacity hoppers, flotation tyres and hydraulically driven twin rollers to deliver consistent dressing depths in a single pass while minimising turf damage and compaction.

Application and Usage Instructions

• Confirm tractor compatibility with the relevant Speedresser model (power, hydraulic spool valves, hitch type).
• Load the hopper with the chosen topdressing material within the rated capacity; avoid overloading.
• Set the desired dressing depth (within the 2 mm to 75 mm range) and, for the Speedresser 24H, adjust the twin rollers hydraulically to achieve the target application rate.
• Operate at an appropriate forward speed (up to 18 km/h) to ensure even material distribution and prevent over-application at headlands.
• Use the flotation tyres and pivoting axle to work on suitable ground conditions, minimising compaction and surface marking.
• After use, empty any remaining material, wash down the hopper, conveyors and rollers, and inspect moving parts for wear or build-up.
