Details

Bale of Mikskaar Sphagnum Peat Moss Extra Fine

White peat as a growing media is used by the entire world of horticulture. So far, no adequate substitute has been found; it still is the most environmentally plant-friendly growing substrate available.

The high level of organic matter (which attracts micro-flora necessary for nutrient and water transport), high porosity and thus buffering ability, and water retention capability are just a few of the advantages of Mikskaar white peat.

Natural white peat can be used as a raw material for growing media, for soil improvement and as a growing medium for plants. Mikskaar white peat is produced from Sphagnum Sp. mosses; the product is slightly decomposed with good levels of air filled porosity and water retention.

This product is suitable as a growing medium for vegetables and ornamental plants in nurseries, greenhouses, open field plant production and home garden. It is a widely used raw material for professional use.

Peat is free of wood, sand, seeds, radioactivity and chemicals.
