Aeraseeder 1200 | Overseeder
The Aeraseeder 1200 is a heavy-duty, 2-in-1 overseeder designed for precision overseeding of fine turf such as greens, tees and sportsfields. Conventional overseeding can disrupt the playing surface and deliver inconsistent seed placement; the Aeraseeder 1200 uses angled coned rollers and integrated brushing to place seed accurately into thousands of small holes with minimal disturbance to the existing sward.
Only the 1.2 m working width Aeraseeder 1200 model is described here. Please contact us for information on the 1.8 m or 2.4 m wide options.

Application and Usage Instructions
- Set the Aeraseeder 1200 to the desired working depth so that the 38 mm spikes produce clean perforations without excessive surface disruption.
- Fill the hopper with the chosen seed mixture, ensuring it is clean and free-flowing; the internal agitator assists in maintaining a consistent seed feed.
- Adjust the seed rate according to seed supplier recommendations for overseeding fine turf.
- Operate the machine at an appropriate forward speed to achieve the target perforation density of approximately 1,750 holes per m².
- Allow the rear brush to work effectively by maintaining correct brush height so that seed is swept cleanly into the holes rather than left on the surface.
- After overseeding, avoid aggressive rolling or heavy traffic until initial germination and establishment are achieved.
- Clean down the rollers, brush and hopper after use and store the machine under cover to protect components and maintain performance.
Efficient overseeding for high-quality fine turf
The Aeraseeder 1200 provides turf managers with a compact, precise overseeding solution that integrates aeration, seed placement and brushing into a single operation. Its 1.2 m working width and fine perforation pattern make it particularly suitable for golf and sports turf applications where surface quality and playability must be maintained during renovation.
