> Technical Sheet

Regulate turf growth and improve the quality of larger areas, economically

PRIMO 250 EC Turf Growth Regulator is the original, trusted and economical turf growth regulator for large areas that optimises the mowing effort and improves turf quality.

What PRIMO 250 EC offers you:
• Overall improvement of turf quality and colour
• An effective growth and cost management tool through savings from reduced mowing time, clippings disposal and less machinery wear
• A versatile option for use on turf farms, bunker edges, roadsides and difficult to manage areas
• Trusted EC formulation matches the uptake limits in turf to avoid phytotoxicity

PRIMO 250 EC can be used as a growth regulation tool on the following turf species:

| Warm Season Turf Grasses | Cool Season Turf Grasses |
| :--- | :--- |

Accuracy and Performance

To achieve great results, accurate application is important.

| Target | Syngenta Nozzle | Optimal Water Rate | Optimal Pressure Range |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Leaf and crown | XC 04 or XC 025 | 100 to 500 L/ha | 2 to 4 bar |

PRIMO 250 EC can be continuously and safely used for up to 12 months of the year, as long as active turf growth occurs. Tracking the growth rate of the turf with the rate of PRIMO 250 EC applied is essential to manage a consistent regulation effect for the entire application period.

Example: The first application of spring onto a couch fairway should be at the low end of the PRIMO 250 EC rates suitable for Common Couch (eg 0.4 L/ha starting the second week of September). As the season progresses and the turf growth accelerates, the PRIMO 250 EC rates can be increased accordingly (eg 0.6 to 0.75 L/ha during January).

| Grass/Situation | Rate | SpraySure |
| :--- | :--- | :--- |
| **Fairways** | | |
| Couch | 0.3 to 0.8 L/ha | F |
| Kikuyu | 0.8 to 2 L/ha | |
| **Ovals, Parks, Semi-roughs, Road Medians** | | |
| Couch | 0.5 to 2 L/ha | F |
| Kikuyu | 0.8 to 4 L/ha | |
| Ryegrass | 1 to 3 L/ha | |
| **Mixed Species Management** | | |
| Bahia seedhead control in Couch | 1 to 2 L/ha plus 75 mL/ha MONUMENT LIQUID | F Su |

Active Ingredient
PRIMO 250 EC contains 250 g/L trinexapac-ethyl

Formulation and Packaging
5 L pack size
PRIMO 250 EC is an emulsion concentrate (EC) with minimal odour.
PRIMO 250 EC mixes completely with water and may be tank mixed with many commonly used fungicides and liquid fertilisers.
Physical compatibility of mixtures is not a guarantee that a tank mix will be safe to turf (eg PRIMO 250 EC is compatible with broadleaf herbicides containing MCPA, 2,4-D amine or dicamba, but the tank mix can cause transient yellowing after application).
