Scatter around and between plants or sprinkle around garden perimeter

| SITUATION | PESTS | RATE | HOW TO USE |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Garden plants and vegetables | Common garden snails and slugs | 5g/m² | For best results, scatter the pellets thinly, approximately 10cm apart over the soil around and between plants. Sprinkle around the garden on a warm moist evening, after rain or after garden watering when snails and slugs are most likely to attack your precious plants and vegetables. DO NOT HEAP PELLETS. |

NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE OR IN ANY MANNER CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED.

**ABOUT SNAIL PELLET SAFETY:**
Most pellets that kill snails and slugs effectively can be harmful to humans, domestic animals and wildlife.
The substantial wheat content of snail & slug pellets is not only very attractive to snails and slugs but it is also attractive to pets and wildlife.
For this reason dogs in particular are prone to snail pellet poisoning as a result of them being attracted to the wheat smell. Application of bait, where pets and wildlife are present, in these circumstances should be in small quantities, every 2-3 days, scattered between plants to minimise the risk of consumption whilst still effectively treating the snail and slug problems.

**Taste Deterrent Discourages Children:**
These pellets contain Bitrex™, the bitterest substance known to man, to act as a taste deterrent to discourage consumption by children.

**20,000 {12,000} smaller, harder, pellets:**
Defender Snail & Slug Pellets are not only smaller, but spread further and are more difficult for pets to pick up from garden beds.

**CAUTION:**
Store in original container. Lock in a safe place preventing access of children, animals, poultry or ducks. Keep away from domestic pets. Keep away from dogs. Dogs find this bait attractive and it may kill them. If pets are poisoned, contact a veterinary surgeon. Do not allow chemical containers or pellets to enter drains, sewers, streams or ponds.

**STORAGE AND DISPOSAL:**
Store in the closed, original container in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight. Dispose of empty container by wrapping in paper, placing in a plastic bag and putting in garbage.

**SAFETY DIRECTIONS:**
Wash hands after use.

**FIRST AID:**
If poisoning occurs contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26.
