Always follow safe industrial hygiene practices and wear proper personal protective clothing and equipment when handling chemicals.

**Acute Health Effects may include:**
* **Ingestion:** Excessive ingestion may cause nausea or diarrhea. Mouth, throat and stomach may become irritated. Rinse and gargle with water. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention or contact poisons control. Swallowing the product in large quantities may cause gastric disturbances
* **Eye Contact:** May cause irritation. Rinse with water 15 minutes. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention.
* **Skin Contact:** Prolonged contact may cause irritation to the skin. Dermatitis may occur after prolonged and/or repeated exposures. Wash
* **Inhalation:** Prolonged exposure may cause slight irritation. Move exposed person to fresh air. Rinse mouth and nose with water. Seek medical attention if necessary.

## SECTION 4 – FIRST AID MEASURES
**Scheduled Poisons:** Poisons Information Centre in each Australian State capital city or in Christchurch, New Zealand can provide additional assistance for scheduled poisons. (Phone Australia 131126 or New Zealand 0800 764 766).

**First Aid Facilities:** Ensure there is access to eye washes and safety showers.

**Inhalation:** Move victim to fresh air. Obtain medical attention if symptoms occur.

**Skin Contact:** Wash skin with plenty of water. Seek medical advice (e.g. doctor) if irritation persists for more than 30 minutes.

**Eye Contact:** If product gets in eyes, wash material from them with running water for 15 minutes, ensuring eyelids are held open. If irritation persists, seek medical advice.

**Ingestion:** Do NOT induce vomiting. Dilute by drinking water or milk. If vomiting occurs spontaneously, administer more liquids and keep head below hips to prevent aspiration of liquid into the lungs. Never give fluids or induce vomiting if patient is unconscious. Seek medical advice.

**Advice to Doctor:** Treat symptomatically. Observe signs of sensitisation and treat appropriately if evident.

## SECTION 6 – ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Small spill – soak up with absorbent material and transfer into suitable container
Large spill – wear appropriate PPE. Contain spill and pump into suitable disposal container. If spillage enters waterways, notify appropriate government agencies. Flush and scrub area with detergent and remove residue to prevent slipperiness.

**Waste Disposal:**
If disposed as shipped is not hazardous waste as specified in 40 CFR 261. Consult state and local officials for proper disposal methods. Observe all local, state and federal regulations.

**Handling:** Handle with due care and avoid personal contact. Since emptied containers retain product residues (vapours, liquid and/or solids), all hazard precautions given in this SDS must be observed.

**Storage:** Store at normal temperatures and conditions of warehousing. Keep container closed when not in use. Avoid allowing product to freeze.
