TECHNICAL DATA SHEET - ‘GROWRITE ROOT GARD’

DESCRIPTION:
Growrite Root Gard is a polymeric membrane that acts as a barrier for the protection against the unwanted intrusion of tree roots and moisture seepage in prevention of kerb, driveway and house foundation damage. The Root Gard root control barrier is a waterproof flexible membrane made from high density polyethylene plastic and stabilised to comply with ASTM D5199 and D1505. This product will allow for trees to remain and exist alongside of buildings, driveways and paths without causing any underground problems. To further enhance the protection Bentonite can be used in conjunction with Root Gard to seal and bind the Root Gard to the bottom of the trench.

AREAS OF USE:
Growrite Root Gard is suitable for the following applications:
• New or existing roadway constructions.
• Protecting concrete paths and pipes.
• Landscaping applications
• Protection from tree roots.
