RESTRAINTS
DO NOT apply by chemigation.
DO NOT apply by aircraft.
DO NOT apply if heavy rains or storms are forecast within 3 days.
DO NOT irrigate to the point of runoff from the treatment area for at least 3 days after application.

SPRAY DRIFT RESTRAINTS
Specific definitions for terms used in this section of the label can be found at

DO NOT allow bystanders to come into contact with the spray cloud.

DO NOT apply in a manner that may cause an unacceptable impact to native vegetation, agricultural crops, landscaped gardens and aquaculture production, or cause contamination of plant or livestock commodities, outside the application site from spray drift. The buffer zones in the relevant buffer zone table/s below provide guidance but may not be sufficient in all situations. Wherever possible, correctly use application equipment designed to reduce spray drift and apply when the wind direction is away from these sensitive areas.

DO NOT apply unless the wind speed is between three and 20 kilometres per hour at the application site during the time of application.

DO NOT apply if there are hazardous surface temperature inversion conditions present at the application site during the time of application. Surface temperature inversion conditions exist most evenings one to two hours before sunset and persist until one to two hours after sunrise.

DO NOT apply by a boom sprayer unless the following requirements are met:
• Spray droplets are not smaller than a MEDIUM spray droplet size category.
• Minimum distances between the application site and downwind sensitive areas are observed (see the following table titled ‘Buffer zones for boom sprayers’).

Buffer zones for boom sprayers

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

| Situation | Pest | Rate | Critical Comments |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| | | | Apply a maximum of 4.6 L/ha per year. |
| Turf | Scarab larvae including African black beetle (Heteronychus arator); Argentine scarab (Cyclocephala signaticollis) | 1.15 - 2.3 L/ha | Apply to mown turf in a minimum application volume of 200 L/ha and irrigate treated areas after application with up to 4 mm water. Apply the higher rate in situations of high pest pressure or when long residual protection is required. Apply as a preventative treatment before or at peak egg hatch which is typically mid-spring to mid-summer depending on species and location, or as a curative application when small larvae are present. |
| | Billbug Larvae (Sphenophorus brunnipennis) | 1.15 - 2.3 L/ha | Apply to mown turf in a minimum application volume of 200 L/ha and irrigate treated areas after application with up to 4 mm water. Apply the higher rate in situations of high pest pressure or when long residual protection is required. Monitor adult activity through spring and early summer. Apply as a preventative treatment when adult numbers peak, or as a curative treatment when small larvae (4 mm) are found in the thatch or surface soil. Early application is essential to minimise grass damage due to feeding. |
| | Argentine stem weevil larvae (Listronotus bonariensis) | 1.15 - 2.3 L/ha | Apply to mown turf in a minimum application volume of 400 L/ha. Apply the higher rate in situations of high pest pressure or when long residual protection is required. Monitor adult activity through spring and early summer. Apply as a preventative treatment when adult numbers peak, or as a curative treatment when first visual symptoms of damage occur. For control of subsequent generations make applications as needed during the season. |
| | Caterpillars including Lawn armyworm (Spodoptera mauritia); Cutworm (Agrotis spp.); Sod webworm (Herpetogramma spp.) | 1.15 L/ha | Apply to mown turf in a minimum application volume of 400 L/ha. Apply when insects or damage first appear. Re-apply as needed. Delay watering and mowing for 24 hrs after application. |

WITHHOLDING PERIOD: DO NOT GRAZE TREATED TURF OR LAWN; OR FEED TURF OR LAWN CLIPPINGS FROM ANY TREATED AREA TO POULTRY OR LIVESTOCK.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Tetrino Turf Insecticide controls insect pests in turf including on golf courses, sports fields, bowling greens, race tracks, recreational lawns and turf farms.

APPLICATION
Good control requires good coverage. Application should be made using sufficient water to ensure thorough, uniform coverage. Apply in a minimum of 200 L water/ha when applying to soil pests that require follow-up irrigation or rainfall to move the product to the soil. For other insect pests, apply in a minimum water volume of 400 L water/ha.
DO NOT spray the moving parts of any machinery, electric motors or switchgear with the water-based product.

MIXING
Ensure that the sprayer is clean and free of residues. If necessary, wash out the sprayer with water and detergent before use and treat washings as hazardous waste. Fill the sprayer with half the required volume of water. Measure out precisely the required quantity of product and pour carefully into the spray tank. Complete the filling of the sprayer with water to the appropriate level and agitate.

COMPATIBILITY
As formulations of other manufacturers’ products are beyond the control of Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd and as water quality may vary, a compatibility test to assess physical compatibility should be conducted with any potential tank mix partner prior to mixing commercial quantities. Fill a clear container three-quarters full with water. Add the appropriate amount of Tetrino Turf Insecticide and the tank mix partner. Shake or gently stir after each addition to mix thoroughly. Let the mixture stand for 15 minutes and look for separation, large flakes, precipitates, gels and heavy oily film or other signs of incompatibility. If the compatibility test shows signs of incompatibility, do not tank mix the product tested with Tetrino Turf Insecticide. Read the label of the other product before mixing or using the tank mix. Follow all use restrictions on this label and for all tank mix partners and use the most restrictive use pattern for the labels of all products in a tank mixture. Do not mix concentrates together but add each one separately to the spray tank. Do not store mix overnight. As changes in climatic conditions can alter the sensitivity of plants to mixtures of sprays, Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd cannot be responsible for the behaviour of such mixtures. For further information on the compatibility of this product with other products, contact your local retailer or Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd representative.

INSECTICIDE RESISTANCE WARNING
For insecticide resistance management Tetrino Turf Insecticide is a Group 28 insecticide. Some naturally occurring insect biotypes resistant to Tetrino and other Group 28 insecticides may exist through normal genetic variability in any insect population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the insect population if Tetrino or other Group 28 insecticides are used repeatedly. The effectiveness of Tetrino on resistant individuals could be significantly reduced. Since occurrence

of resistant individuals is difficult to detect prior to use, Bayer CropScience Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of Tetrino to control resistant insects.
Tetrino may be subject to specific resistance management strategies. For further information contact your local supplier, Bayer CropScience representative or visit .

INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT
Toxic to beneficial arthropods. Not compatible with integrated pest management (IPM) programs utilising beneficial arthropods. Minimise spray drift to reduce harmful effects on beneficial arthropods outside the treatment area.

PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT
Very toxic to aquatic life. DO NOT contaminate wetlands or watercourses with the product or used containers.

PROTECTION OF HONEY BEES AND OTHER INSECT POLLINATORS
Highly toxic to bees. Harmful to bee brood. Tetraniliprole has a systemic action. DO NOT spray while bees are actively foraging. DO NOT allow spray drift to flowering weeds or flowering plants in the vicinity of the treatment area. Before spraying, notify beekeepers to move hives to a safe location with an untreated source of nectar and pollen, if there is potential for managed hives to be affected by the spray or spray drift. Risk to bees is reduced by spraying in early morning or late evening while bees are not foraging.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Keep out of reach of children. Store in the closed, original container in a cool, well-ventilated area. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight. Triple-rinse containers before disposal. Add rinsings to spray tank. Do not dispose of undiluted chemicals on site. If recycling, replace cap and return clean containers to recycler or designated collection point. If not recycling, break, crush, or puncture and deliver empty packaging to an approved waste management facility. If an approved waste management facility is not available, bury the empty packaging 500 mm below the surface in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots, in compliance with relevant local, state or territory government regulations. Do not burn empty containers or product. Do not re-use empty container for any other purpose.

SAFETY DIRECTIONS
Wash hands after use.

FIRST AID
First aid is not generally required. If in doubt, contact a Poisons Information Centre (phone Australia 13 11 26) or a doctor.
