# Label - Acadian Seaweed

ACADIAN® SSE
is a pure extract of fresh Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed which is a
concentrate of naturally bioactive, beneficial ingredients and plant nutrients
and amino acids. These active ingredients include such trace
elements as Boron, Molybdenum, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Manganese,
silicon, and cobalt, which are chelated in a natural form. Acadian®
SSE also contains key plant-hormonal-like triggers which are growth
promoting substances such as Cytokinins, Auxins and Gibberellins.
Used frequently during the growing period Acadian SSE will enhance
plant root and stem development, as well as colour and general vigor.

COMPATIBILITY
Acadian® SSE is compatible with most foliar applied insecticides,
fungicides and fertilisers. Some pH adjustment may be required with
highly alkaline. Use with surfactants other than Synertrol Oil™ is not
recommended. When interaction is unknown a "jar" compatibility
test is recommended.

STORAGE & HANDLING
Always reseal bag and container immediately after use to prevent
moisture contamination. Store in a dry location away from direct
handling and use of the product. Avoid spillages on surfaces as product becomes very
slippery when wetted and under any circumstances a hazard.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Note: Always use a dry measuring container. To convert dose rate
from grams of product to millilitres multiply by a factor or two.
Foliar Applications: Add the required amount of SSE to a bucket, add
water to form slurry (using and then add Synertrol Oil™ while stirring.
Synertrol Oil™ will improve coverage and adherence of SSE on the
target foliage. Half fill spray tank of water, begin agitating and
gradually add recommended amount of SSE with remainder of water
and spray solution. Thorough spray should be applied as a fine mist,
until foliage is wet. For best results, apply in early morning
or late evening.
Irrigation Water Applications: SSE can be applied through your
irrigation system as required. All standard product (10L/ha of SSE)
into the irrigation water. Rate recommendations provided in
application guide should be followed.
Root Dips/Soil: To assist in a rapid settlement, apply SSE at the rate of
5gm/10L water, prior to planting; or apply directly to seed bed at the
rate of 0.5-1g/10m rows.
Rooting/Transplant Solution: For use as a rooting medium, use SSE
at the rate of 5 gm/10L water; to use at the time of transplanting dip
roots in a solution of 5gm/10L water

Note: Start foliar applications at initial foliage stage and continue at 3-4 week intervals. Make additional applications after stress of disease or insect attack. Apply at the same rates as above and as a late season spray to help improve resistance to winter kill & frost damage.
